A leader in the security business for over 20 years is hiring an accounting professional! You will be working within a company that has an exceptionally strong financial foundation with a long history of operational excellence. You will be responsible for daily operations and building out the accounting team and assist with M&A.

Responsibilities: Oversight of the day-to-day operations of the Accounting Department which presently includes a staff of 1-2 to ensure billing timeliness and accuracy.

Ensure all invoicing is done timely and accurately with focus on collections and interactions with customers. Oversight of the Payroll function, which includes, but is not limited to ensuring compliance in various states, detailed reviews, and analytics, partnering closely with Human Resources and the review of key reconciliations. Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S.

GAAP Ensure that account reconciliations are prepared for all balance sheet accounts in conjunction with the close, utilizing the templates provided by Corporate. Review and approval of all expense reporting, perform analytic reviews of financial results. Perform monthly consolidation of all subsidiaries and assist with the consolidation.

Maintenance of General Ledger and other Financial Reporting Systems/Processes Develop and implement policies and procedures manuals and guidelines for staff to adhere to Establish and maintain a high level of internal controls. Develop and maintain the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing calendars. Maintain accurate Cashflow Forecasting and other Treasury management functions.

Management of tax issues (compliance, liaison with tax preparers, tax audits, etc.) and the preparation of annual partnership returns.Requirements: Bachelor of Science in Accounting, MBA is preferred, CPA is required.

10-15+ years of accounting experience, minimum 5 years in Public Buy-side integration experience is strong desired. ERP system implementation experience a plus Experience working with privately held companies backed by PE. Knowledge of Cloud based ERP GL System like Oracle, Sage Intacct is preferred.

Knowledge of IBM Cognos or similar BI Software.
